# Rotating Your Merchant GUID

Follow these steps to rotate your Merchant GUID on Magento 2 (M2L). All steps start in your store admin.

  **Before you start**

  * Have your new Merchant GUID to hand.
  * Your Merchant ID does not change.
  * Questions? Contact your Global-e account manager.

## Steps

  <Step title="Open your store admin">
    Go to your store admin.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the Services configuration">
    Go to **Stores → Configuration → Services**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Switch the GUID">
    Under **Global-e Cross-Border**, open **Global-e API Settings** and switch your GUID.
  </Step>
