# EU Product Identifiers

Part of the [EU Customs Reform - Product Identifiers (PID)](/eu-product-identifiers-pid).

On SAP Commerce (Hybris), EU product identifiers are sent as `standardcode` (standardized barcode/GTIN) and `mididentifier` (manufacturer product code) on each cart line.

## What you need to do

**Setup is not self-serve.** Contact your Customer Success Manager and share:

* **Catalog fields** — where barcode/GTIN and manufacturer product code are stored (variant vs base product; Backoffice location; attribute qualifier names, e.g. `ean`, `manufacturerAID`)
* **Attribute mechanism** — which SAP Commerce mechanism holds those values:
  * Type System (custom attributes defined in `items.xml`)
  * Classification System (Backoffice classifications)
  * Dynamic Attributes (code-defined attributes)
