# EU Consumer Guarantee

> How to supply GaranImageURL to Global-e on PrestaShop: map a product Feature once, and the plugin emits the value on both the catalog sync and at checkout.

## One-time setup

1. In **Catalog → Attributes & Features**, create a feature named, for example, `Global-e GARAN Image URL`.
2. In Global-e plugin settings, find the **GARAN Image URL** dropdown and select that feature.
3. If using the Catalog path, confirm **Enable save product list** is switched on. If it is off, only the cart path will carry the value.

## Per product

Populate the mapped feature once on each eligible parent product. Leave it empty for products with no guarantee. Features cannot differ by combination — see [Platform notes](/eu-consumer-guarantee-setup-prestashop#platform-notes).

The plugin then emits `GaranImageURL` automatically on both the catalog sync and at checkout.

## When the value syncs

The value is picked up on product save.

## Prerequisites

| Feature enablement | Confirm with your Customer Success Manager that this feature is enabled for your account |

## Delivery paths

The value reaches Global-e on two paths: the catalog sync and at checkout. Where both supply a value for the same product, the Catalog value wins.

## Platform notes

  PrestaShop Features cannot differ by combination. Size and colour variants of the same parent product inherit the same URL, and you cannot assign a different GARAN URL per combination. The plugin still sends one catalog and cart row per combination SKU; each row carries a copy of the parent value.

For technical readers. The field name is `GaranImageURL` on both the catalog and cart contracts, with no per-path variation.

The two jacket combination SKUs (M and L) share the same `GaranImageURL` because the Feature was set once on the parent product. The t-shirt has no guarantee — `GaranImageURL` is `null` and no attachment is generated for it. Omitting the property entirely has the same effect as `null`.

## FAQ

    No. Set the Feature once on the parent product. Each combination SKU (size, colour) carries a copy of that same URL to Global-e. You cannot assign a different GARAN URL per combination on PrestaShop.
